On behalf of our client, a world-renowned manufacturing organisation with a site near to Sheffield city centre, Stafforce are currently recruiting for an experienced Assembly Technician for one of their specialist divisions.

Key responsibilities of the successful applicant will include:

• Conducting fitment, building and rebuilding work accurately and efficiently.
• Communicating with other departments as part of the build process.
• Liaise with component suppliers.
• Use a variety of electronic scanning and reporting tools.
• Communicate any discrepancies to the charge hand/lead engineer for updating drawings.
• Be aware of health & safety at all times.

Person specification:

• Experience of working in a fast paced and often demanding work environment.
• Be familiar with the need for time management and organisational skills.
• Able to generate new ideas.
• Have sound decision making skills.
• Quality orientated.
• Attention to detail.

Working hours:

Monday to Thursday - 07:00 to 15:30

Fridays - 07:00 to 12:00
