The Job Role:

• Working as a Pay loader operative to transport and discharge commodities from Quayside to Warehouse
• Loading shovel, front end loading shovel and pay loader duties
• Operating other plant as required
• Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained throughout all operations
• Shift times are usually 12 hours nights and days operating Monday to Sunday with opportunity

The Successful candidate:

• Highly H&S conscious
• Flexible approach to work
• Willingness to support operational needs as required
• Pay loader, Loading shovel or other plant certification is essential
• Slinger banksman experience is desirable but not essential
• Pay loader/Loading shovel experience
• Previous experience working in a port environment or heavy industrial environment is desirable but not essential
• All our workers undergo initial assessment to working in a ports environment, this includes Pay loader, Loading Shovel and Skid steer assessments by our accredited trainers.
• We ensure you are fully knowledgeable of your environment as your first step to working within Ports.
• For candidates that have invalid certification of a Loading shovel we can provide refresher courses / assessment.
