We are pleased to offer opportunities for pay loader/front end shovel operatives based in Liverpool, we provide excellent additional training and can offer a career within the Ports industry.

The Job Role:
Working as a pay loader operative to transport and discharge dry bulk commodities from quayside to warehouse
Operating in storage facilities and vessel holds to discharge, load and push up dry bulk commodities
Willingness to work other operational roles as required
Operating other plant as required
Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained throughout all operations
Shift times are usually 12 hours nights and days operating Monday to Sunday

The Successful candidate:

Experience essential
Experience pay loader/front end shovel operative
Experience in handling dry bulk commodities
Push arm experience
Highly H&S conscious
Flexible approach to work
Willingness to support operational needs as required
Slinger banksman experience is desirable but not essential
Previous experience working in a port environment or heavy industrial environment is desirable but not essential

All our workers undergo initial assessment to working in a ports environment, this includes FLT /Fork lift truck assessments by our accredited trainers. We ensure you are fully knowledgeable of your environment as your first step to working within Ports.

For candidates who can demonstrate experience for a pay loader/front end shovel loader, an assessment can be provided with a refresher course/ assessment.
