Stafforce are pleased to announce we have excellent opportunities for the positions of Vessel Operations Supervisor.

The role is an essential part of ensuring the safe and efficient discharge of vessels across the Port of Liverpool. Excellent supervisory skills, vessel discharge knowledge and a commitment to health and safety is vital to the role.

As a Vessel Operations Supervisor you will ensure port safety rules are adhered to, assisting the client’s management team and liaising with them throughout the process.

We have roles available for both Day and Night Supervisors. Ideally you will be willing to work a combination of days and nights.

The Vessel Operations Supervisor Job Role:


  • Leading and supervising key and high risk operations of the vessel discharge
  • Supervision and management of the quayside, deck and laydown charge hands
  • Monitor and enforce safe systems of work methods
  • Accountable for behavioural safety
  • Raising hazard observations and site inspections to maintain a safe working environment
  • Ensuring safe and efficient use of plant and equipment.
  • Inspect and replace PPE as required
  • Ensure our client is updated on operational challenges or changes to plan
